LA VIÑA EN CINCINNATI DA BANDERAZO DE SALIDAJulio 18,2009 (Cincinnati, Ohio) La ciudad de Price Hill fue testigo de la primera reunión de la Viña en Cincinnati que se llevo a cabo el día sábado 18 de julio de este año. Una semana antes del festival sentimos una fuerte confirmación del Espíritu Santo que nos mostraba que era hora de iniciar nuestras reuniones. La gente también estaba esperando este día desde hace mucho tiempo. El día del evento se dieron cita un total de 95 adultos y niños los cuales fueron testigos de este evento histórico. Damos gracias a Dios por el respaldo y estamos muy entusiasmados y esperando con regocijo nuestra próxima reunión que se llevara a cabo el día primero de agosto en el Centro Comunitario de Price Hill a las 5:00 PM. Damos gracias a Vineyard Northwest por toda la ayuda brindada para que este sueño se convierta en realidad.

SOME HISTORY ABOUT VIÑA CINCINNATI

By: John GreenThe Lord works in many different, wondrous ways. Mynor Canel came to the United States from Guatemala in 1978 when he was 15 years old to join his parents in Los Angeles. He met his wife Isis in Los Angeles and got married in 1990, and became a permanent resident of the U.S. in 1987. He had a burning passion in his heart to help the Guatemalan people, but was not sure how to fill that burning desire until he met our pastor, Van Cochrane, on a missionary trip to Guatemala. With this fateful meeting God seemed to clarify to Mynor that Cincinnati was the place he was to minister to his Guatemalan people. After much needed guidance from God combined with several trips to Cincinnati over three years, Mynor, along with his family, were led to leave their home and family in Los Angeles and come to Cincinnati to minister and share God’s love to the Hispanic people living in the Price Hill area. Their calling was to not only share the Gospel with them but to share God’s love with them in very practical ways and model the wondrous love of God. Mynor felt led to plant a church in the lower Price Hill area that will not only provide a place to meet with God in worship and teaching but will help provide some of the important community needs. The needs could include educational and social services assistance, as well as counseling, and training. The “church” would be available and doing Kingdom work seven days a week. There are many needs to be filled, and part of Mynor’s initial efforts will be determining the highest priority needs and a plan to fill them.

Development of a local leadership team is a key part of Mynor’s approach to this ministry. His heart’s desire is to develop several men and women in the area into growing and maturing Christ followers who can help lead this work. His vision is for this team to help lead and develop a church that will grow to support over 150 members, complete with Life Groups that can function as a church and community center within the next 3-5 years.

Festival del 12 de Julio-Todo un Exito

VIÑA PRICE HILL COMIENZA CON UN FESTIVAL PARA LA COMUNIDAD
La Viña En Los Angeles da a luz a su tercera Iglesia plantada el día 19 de Julio del 2009 en Price Hill, Ohio.

LA VIÑA EN CINCINNATI DA BANDERAZO DE SALIDA
Julio 18,2009 (Cincinnati, Ohio) La ciudad de Price Hill fue testigo de la primera reunión de la Viña en Cincinnati que se llevo a cabo el día sábado 18 de julio de este año. Una semana antes del festival sentimos una fuerte confirmación del Espíritu Santo que nos mostraba que era hora de iniciar nuestras reuniones. La gente también estaba esperando este dia desde hace mucho tiempo. El día del evento se dieron cita un total de 75 adultos y niños sin contar a los quince voluntarios de Julio 12, 2009. (Price Hill Ohio) El día domingo 12 de Julio se llevo a cabo el 5to alcance evangelistico y de misericordia en la comunidad de Price Hill Ohio. Esta actividad fue un éxito rotundo ya que pudimos contar con un buen número de personas de la comunidad que vinieron a disfrutar de las actividades que tuvimos. Comenzamos sirviendo hotdogs y bebidas para todos los que asistieron. Luego dimos inicio a un concierto en vivo con el Puertorriqueño, Luis Angel. También tuvimos una serie de juegos para los niños, las que incluyeron un Jumper, actividades manuales, se les pinto las caritas y se le dio premios. Después del concierto se rifaron 9 ventiladores. A este festival asistieron personas de diferentes etnias lo cual le dio un toque multiétnico. Tuvimos un buen número de voluntarios de la iglesia Vineyard Northwest y los pastores de la Viña en Los Angeles quienes nos ayudaron de una forma extraordinaria. Esta actividad fue concluida al entregar 201 bolsas con comestibles para el hogar. Algo que note es que los niños no se querían ir a casa.
